Role: Manchester city manager
A rapidly growing foodtech startup based in London is looking for a Graduate Business Development City Manager to run the Manchester branch and drive growth within the city.
The company launched over 12 months ago, is backed by Just Eat and has been featured in The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Times and Evening Standard.
As the City Manager you will be based in Manchester, with the full backing of your colleagues in London and Bristol, to engage and develop relationships with partner restaurants as well as driving local consumer marketing efforts.
You’ll receive full training from our current City Manager in Manchester (1 month). You’ll have the opportunity to learn how startups are built and launched in new cities.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial flair, a passion for startups and ideally a love of food!
You’ll need to be able to work independently, managing your own time and workload. The ideal candidate will be a natural people person, someone who enjoys meeting people and building relationships. In addition to this, you’ll need to be well organised as you’ll be involved with managing multiple events around the city.
The ideal candidate will also have a love of marketing. Part of the role will include identifying and developing relationships with local marketing partners as well as personally managing local social media accounts.
You’ll become part of a dynamic and fun team and be rewarded with a generous profit share agreement in addition to the basic salary.
If you want to join an early stage startup and actively help shape a company’s growth then this is the role for you!
Email your CV and a cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org — ideally, think of a week-long event you would run in conjunction with our partner restaurants to drive users to them.
